We tried to make snow again last night unfortunately the temps did not allow it, however, the park is prime and looking great with the dance floor in a new location and few other features that we moved around.

PARK REPORT 11/26/08

Snowmaking is looking good for tonight. We are going to start moving things around tonight and with a good shot of snowmaking tomorrow night the park should be totally rebuilt for sat. The only thing that we know for certain is that the dancefloor and tower combo will be pulled apart and reset seperately. Other than that, how we rebuild will be determined after we see what new snow we have to work with. High on the wishlist is to bring back a jump(s) and some of the smaller rails we had up earlier before the last rebuild.

The Environment Scorecard is released by The Ski Area Citizens' Coalition. The Ski Area Citizens' Coalition works to ensure that ski area management decisions, either by the Forest Service, the ski companies, or local goverments, are responsive to the needs of real environmental protection, local communities, and the skiing public.

As last season was winding down to the last few days, the Academy Snowboard team made Boreal it's little home away from home. Here's a sweet little reminder of how fun the end of last season was and little something to look forward to as we get going into full gear with the return of winter this coming week. It wont be long until old favorites like the BMX line and the Bowlercoaster are back into the mix. Think cold and think snow!

PARK REPORT 11/20/08
cross your fingers, toes and ears..our forecaster is calling for about 6-8hrs of snowmaking tonight contingent on the east wind blowing out the inversion layer. The park is still going strong and Colby has added two pole jam options for today. We should be able to maintain this setup a few mores days if we don't get any snowmaking before we would have to rebuild and pull any features.

PARK REPORT 11/14/08
Can someone turn down the heat?
Despite the heat things are still going strong in the park. We've got a few changes in store for everyone over the next couple of nights. C-Murdr is doing some last minute finishing touches to our second c-box. If he can work his magic and get it done this afternoon then we will get it on the hill for tomorrow otherwise expect it for Sunday. In other changes, the old staircase will be replaced by one from JPI4. Other than that we will keep massaging the snow back into form everynight as we patiently wait for the return of colder weather and snowmaking.
