Are snowboarders competing against skiers? Should teams be mixed? Is there a equal amount of teams for both ski.board, or if the first 15 teams that register are ski teams thats just how it will be? sorry for all the questions just wondering
As long as you have at least 2 and no more than 4 people on a team it doesn’t matter what they are sliding on. There is no division between ski or snowboard … guy or girl. It’s totally open to allow for the maximum of creativity. As far as I’m concerned its all park shredding so it doesn’t matter what kind of equipment you use.
do you guys know what features you’ll be putting up? castle peak quad?probably not but as big as last year maybe bigger?
The idea is to expand the venue. Every year the venue at JPI grows in some way, shape or form and this year will be no exception. As far as individual features go, I wont make any decisions until we have snow on the ground.
Last years setup included: mini wall ride, tower tube, cbox, up box, flat box, staircase and a table top jump among a few more features that slip my mind at the moment.
We hope to be able to spread out the venue more to allow more elbow room with an eye on film-ability but still have around 10 or so features.

How do I sign up and get in this contest?
12pm on 10/1 online registration will go live. There will be an online payment system that only allows the first 15 teams to register. Registration is only complete once the $50 team entry fee has been paid. So on 10/1 look for the new JPI registration page to go live.

I love JPI and I try to go every year.
if it’s possible it would be nice to have multiple flatboxes cause it seems that everyone tends to gravatate towards them and they get REALLY crowded.
