After many long hours beating code into submission, the new park blog is now finally live for action. We’ve added a lot of new features to better allow everyone that rides our parks and follows the blog to be able to communicate with each other and get the most up to date info possible.
NEW FEATURES:
- Users can sign up for TXT ALERTS. Keep up to date on the latest info regarding park status. If something has to close unexpectedly we’ll send out a txt. Eager for a night pipe session? If conditions are right for it to reopen we’ll send out a txt so you wont miss it.
- Featured content wont get bumped off the page anymore by park reports.
- Park Reports now live in an separate archive.
- All content can be searched using the search bar.
- Users can now sign up for accounts. Starting as a subscriber will grant permission to leave comments. Subscribers will have the opportunity to become Authors in the future. Nothing better than hearing it straight from the riders!
As the new season nears we’ll have alot of news of park improvements so keep checking the blog.

Just a tip for the site look. You might want to add an icon for when you tab style bookmarks with firefox. The rideboreal.com site has the BOreal logo, this site has never had one. Just looks naked on the tab bar as the only site without a logo. Make sense?

is there gonna be a jpi this year? Also what are you guys planing on building, any new rails or features, those lift towers are really fun, urban wall ride with stairs and rail
We’ll be posting JPI info next week! Just have a few more details to work out. JPI5 is taking a huge turn in direction…you wont be standing around watching Pro’s shred so get your new kit ready, wax your stick and get your vid cam ready to go.
Yes we are working on new features for this winter and we’ll post pictures as they come. Right now we have been working on a massive project to create park entry ways and park info signs to direct peeps around to all of the different park zones. You’d be amazed at how many people don’t even know that Dutchman exists! The parks continue to get refined and we going all out on Dutchman this year by nearly tripling the area over there that we use as a park. All of our park zones are unique from one another so this project will help make sure you dont miss out on something and everyone can find the right park zone for them.
